Yawn -
forms/scripts support

This demo page is no longer functional. Please use the sample form included in Your installation of Yawn to test the form/script functionality.

Here is a form that uses the test perl script provided with server. Please note that it relies on the default ScriptAlias in the httpd.cfg file. If you chose to use a different directory for scripts, you should modify the ACTION attribute on the FORM tag. The form uses the POST method to send the information you enter to the server, which passes it as command-line arguments to the perl script, which in turn simply re-sends it to your browser.

Note

In order to be able to use external perl scripts at your site you have to install the PERL interpreter NLM first. The installation page explains all necessary details. Plase note that the interpreter is not part of the Yawn software - it is distributed under GNU License and is provided here solely for your convenience.
