Until we write a fancy installer script, the installation of Yawn will have to be a manual one.
Instllation will require the presence of the program pkunzip.exe at your site; it assumes the presence of a SYS:SYSTEM directory - it it is not found, it will be created.
Save the distribution file ....zip to disk.
Move the file to the top directory of your SYS: volume
Make sure the volume has enough free space - the installation of Yawn requires ca. 1.2 MB of free disk space.
Type in pkunzip -d ....zip at prompt in the top directory. The following directory tree will be created:
SYS: --- HTDOCS | | | | ___ ICONS | |- SYSTEM | | ___ HTTPD | | --- CGI-BIN | ___ TEMP
The HTTPD directory will contain scripts (.ncf files) to let you easily start, unload or reload the software. Just type httpd/load at your system console prompt.
